    number plate placement

Gave my bar a coat of paint today only to wonder where to put my plate.I would like to put it where it is but wont fit.If i put it underneath on either side it will end up under my tyres as it will get ripped off.Any suggestions?

If you get premium (white) plates they fit perfectly in the gap between the winch and driving lights.

If you're not fitting a winch why not put it across the winch opening and bolt on. Use 4 anchor points and it won't bend out of shape. You could even fabricate a mounting base bolt the plate to that and then bolt that over the winch area or.

The premium plates would fit easily.

I fitted mine on drivers side by the top screws only(agreed ... on a RR bar ... no light to contend with) and 'unfortunately' it has been bent under the bar (following the bar profile) by the undergrowth. I'm happy with the shape, just have to resist attaching the bottom of the plate. It is difficult explaining that it has just been bent under if it is screwed into place!
