    I don't mind the colour at all
    And if i painted them another colour no doubt the paint would fall off in no time

    Equipe have them too, I think.

    But strictly speaking, I think these fall foul of the bull bar ADRs, being forward projecting. The interpretation is pedestrian safety related. Even the riceburners with gauges on the bonnet fail this ADR apparently.

    but if you lookat tombies above they are not forward of the most forward point on the bar...I believe that its ok, its when it protrudes forward of the most forward point of the bar its not ok

    nope, its still classed as a protrusion. i have the aus standards for frontal protection systems if you want to have a read. even the fairlead is a technical no no.
