Steering...
Took the Sierra out for a 4x4 today decided to push it pretty hard added some panel damage re visited some crazy angles but then on the last section of track i was climbing out of a rut with left lock on and the clay slid me back in the rut which i gave it a boot full to get out of and once i came out i had very limited left steer, but fine right steer...had a look and i think i have bent a steering arm? every thing else seems ok is it ok to take it off straighten it and use it again (keep in mind its a bush basher!)
Cheers.

Take it off, straighten it and weld a hunk of angle to it
It will be weaker with the previous bend, so must be reinforced

You could sleeve that aswell.
Actually, thats one of our standard fix's when bending tierods. Straighten it out and sleeve it with the hilift jack handle to drive home.
Cheers

I got under and had a look at the zooks steering, and im not to familiar on what she be where and in what angle and such...
So when i looked under and noticed one bar which was bananad i just assumed it should not be this way...I still have fine right steer but only a percentage of left steer...
Does this sound normal for a bent steering arm?
Cheers James.
