I just got back from 9 days in Melb. My bro there has a D1 tdi, like mine. Every day I would look at hes one and miss my baby sitting, all alone in my driveway, with no one to stare and gaze upon its beauty, with loving hands to keep it assured that I think of her every day...

Just had to make sure my wife wasnt reading this, its like someone with a drug/gambling habit trying to keep it a secret.

Bloody oath I'm addicted. My missus made me quit once.....but I'm back. My AULRO stickers are much older than my current post count.
My number plates even reflect this, DSC 095
And just to show how progressive my good wife is, she bought them for me
    BUT
It goes further than this, I have a little Honda Civic that I can use as a daily driver that would cost me about $30 a week to drive to work and back, but I still drive the Disco EVERY day..........because getting into it and turning the key is THE BEST TIME THAT CAN BE HAD WITH MY PANTS ON.......That is, when I wear pants

Apologies to the 12 steppers out there, but Land Rovers are an addiction.

    1. We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable without Land Rovers.

    2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity and joined AULRO

    3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of The Fourm.

    4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our vehicles

    5. Admitted to AULRO, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our Land Rover's problems.

    6. Were entirely ready to have The Forum discuss all these defects

    7. Humbly asked The Forum how to remedy these shortcomings

    8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all - friends and partners we've bored rigid talking about Land Rovers, taken looking at endless Land Rovers, loaned us money to buy another bloody Land Rover.

    9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others- Apologised to the wife and mechanic, but didn't sell the LR, didn't think either of them could survive without it.

    10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it - Frequent trips to the mechanic for ongoing maintenance.

    11. Sought through meditation to improve our conscious contact with AULRO, looking only for knowledge of The Forum's will for us and the power to carry those repairs out.

    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs - Converted friends and family to Land Rovers and introduced them to AULRO.

    Cheers
    Simon
