So the doc actually prescribed me beer. I HAD TO drink at least two bottles a day - not stubbies, 750 ml bottles. More if I wanted to. but I struggled to get thru the two a day.
The guy in the bed next to had come in from a small place on the trans Australia railway line, and had had his bottle of Johnnie Walker confiscated. He was not impressed! Reckoned it was favouritism.
BTW - it worked. The stone did come out after a day or two. But there were more waiting ... as I found out a few years later.
