Doesn't matter what colour you paint them, they are going to get bent inwards if you use a bridle, why didn't you weld them on with the holes pointing up and down, that way the shackle will align itself to the line of pull, Regards Frank.

Hot pink or yellow :D

I thought of that afterwards:angel:, possibly thinking of rounding the inside of the holes out with a file or die grinder;)

Here we sometimes have to put triangular stickers higher up on the vehicle pointing downwards indicating a tow-point is below. Comes in handy when the tow point is submerged in [cold] water or mud ;)
