NIce to see his show is still on channel 9. They can't be that upset with him.

I fear this is all orchestrated to boost Ch9 flagging ratings.

it's all bollocks really isn't it, trivial gossip like this isn't going to solve famine in the world, find a cure for cancer, combat global warming or fix my land rover.
What am i hearing hollier than thou Rudd put his two pennies-worth in why ?
Is drivle from the t.v. world on the political agenda these days ?
Or is it something to do with Rudds percieved celebratey status, surely we are old enough to make up our own minds on issues, much like the chaser's episode last week head of the nanny state indicating his displeasure so we know how we should react (in fear that the nation hasn't got leftie- political correctness down pat)-good onya kev i'll use my own brain thanks, blimey it's a fact of life in kitchens we swear, it's like juggling in a sauna come service time and you do not have time for politness (all the same you do not aim your venom on co-workers) you just fill in the gaps with a fuff or two,
As for making an off the cuff joke, it should be taken in context.
Ramsey has come good in his second career good on him, but at the end of the day its all a bit irrelivent.

seriously, if you dont like him, dont watch his shows and dont eat in his resteraunts..... in this day and age of satellite and cable TV with a billion and one channels to choose from, i'm sure theres something out there you'll like..... failing that, get online and visit AULRO more often!

as for the politicians, same deal, dont like'em, dont bloody vote for them, and theres just as many alternatives to the mainstream political parties as there are alternatives to watching "hell's kitchen" ffs

Love the Gordon, dont know what all the ****ing fuss is about. Love his shows and think he is a down to earth straight shooter. Yeah he's bombastic and in your face at times...but if you watch enough of his shows...espec ially when he is with his children...you see a softer side. Lets not forget he is a chef first and foremost....

As for Tracey ( apparently bats for the other team) Grimshaw, "laws of the universe" anyone? That aside...as has been suggested....a nice bit of PR...for all concerned...with 9 being the winner. Gyngell is a big fan of old Gordy....so wouldnt be surprised if the PR machine is milking this for what it is worth.

On Rove the other night...he called Rove a midget and some other names...all in jest....and Rove just dished it back...big difference to how this was supposedly handled. Oh and new Hells Kitchen is coming on Austar in next cuppla weeks...wooot wooot,

Sure he is a good chef but excelling in one area in life if that is all you ever did is not exactly genius.

He makes cheap jokes which I must admit are quite funny at times and his shows do hold a fair amount of truth but belittling everybody is not fun.

Good on him for doing so well, anybody doing well I never begrudge that but stay a little humble old fella.

watch the rating dive, his 3 michelin star kitchens do cheap lunches to fill the seats and soon his empire will crash and he will eat humble pie.

that is if history is anything to go by.

Couldnt agree more, as a chef and having worked in some dodgy english kitchens i can understand where he is coming from but he is still a rude, arrogant, ignorrant tool- if i worked for him there would be a knife sticking out of his back.

personally .......from one chef in view of another ...."he's a nob!"......but l guess hes the one making all the money from being one so all power to him..

but in saying that ..remember " A great chef is only as good as his team!!"

That's my view, channel 9 has done a fantastic job getting everyone talking about them, "all publicity is good publicity". Personally I think the whole thing's a beat up, and a boring one at that.

I bundle it all the celebrities up in the same way...

buddy if technology stopped tomorrow what use would you be to society?
