How did we get to the point where a swearing bad mannered cook belittiling people and a trumped up know it all exposer of diet fads and shonky used car salesman become entertainment?

Reality TV? Whats real about that?

The sooner the both of them and their ilk make their fortunes and move to a quiet beach where they can amuse themselves out of the spotlight the better.

Thay can take that limp wristed yank idiot from the Today programme who dishes the goss about Paris Hilton and the other brain dead hollywood bimbos with them as well

Couldn't have described him better myself - well, I probably could, but this is a "G" rated site.

I don't think there is anyone who gets up my nose and makes me reach for the remote faster than the one so aptly described above.

The limp wristed Australian one (John Michael Howson) runs a close second.
    Cheers .........

Frankly, I think Ramsay is a tosser.
    But, many others love him.

He has made his name with a string of swearing insults and the audiences have lapped it up, waiting for the next level of insults to spew from his mouth, tuning in each week with anticipation.

It was all good entertainment, while ever the people he was disparraging were not known.

Why is it any differtent because its Tracy Grimshaw?

But, now it is Grimshaw, whom, many love and hold dear to their heart in some bizzare celebrity way. Now those same people are outraged.
    Hipocrits, Get over it!!!

His serve to Tracy Grimshaw was much less than the spay received by someone in every show.
Dont forget the receivers of his rubbish on his show, have people who care for them also, they just arent famous enough to have a sook where anyone would listen.

I don't like him, find him boring, and don't watch him. So cannot have much of an informed opinion.

But as a few people have said "who cares??" They are both becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Similarly, still waiting to see the Chaser Boys actually come up with something actually clever rather than just sarcastic or insulting. They are a bunch of Doug Anthony All Stars wannabees. But I probably never will given I choose not to watch The Chaser's Bore on Everything either.

Dark humour and irreverence is fine with me, but it needs to be done intelligently, not like a group of adolescent boys.

HaHa one of my favourite lines, very popular in the mess, along with the Fitter n Turner one.

Why do the call Army cooks fitters n turners?
Cause they fit food into pots and turn it into ****!

I never thought the tucker was that bad, (depending on where you were) but love those jokes
