My forays with Land Rover were all through the bush fire brigade where we had series 1, 2, 2A as well as an assortment of other vehicles.

I suppose though it really began in 1982 when I bought my Range Rover for $12000 (then was out of work less than 6 months later ) Together with the Numptys we did a heap of camping and exploring around the Yalwal area before it was all locked up with the Ettrema wilderness area, as well as getting out into the desert areas.

Stuck in a "dry" Coongie Lake - 1985

With the Numptys - Simpson 1989

Numptys "Dune Car" -West of Lake Eyre - 1989

    The morning after
Took the bus to an organised drink and came home to the results of someone elses drinking. (1983)

    Noccundra Pub - 1986

    Crossing Yalwal Creek ~1985
Numptys favourite 4WD waiting to cross

Camped on Yalwal Creek - near Shoalhaven junction 1984? Edit: Must be later I'm thinking we bought them tents in 1985

And even more reason to get stuck into scanning my negatives.

Camerons. Down along the fence through salisbury downs, whitecliffs,

Louth, tilpa ect. Seven jeeps had a ball. Can't wait to get the 80" finished

Yes Grockle, We breed em big over here. Actualy there were about seven or eight bars made in that batch of varing designs back in late sixties early seventies. That was the way we done it back then. Learning to use pipe benders. Mark
