Couldn't find which countries use a similar system, but Australia is fairly good compared to comparable countries, neither the best nor worst. Probably the most nearly comparable traffic is USA or Canada, as most of the others have less intensive road useage (shorter distances and/or more public transport), but the differences are not major. - deaths per billion vehicle kilometres;
