She was indeed.
Honor Blackman wasn't too bad either.
I never took to Purdey (Joanna Lumley)

They have eddy current machines in nearly all recycling places now. The drums that make up the main component off the eddy current machine are worth over $140k. The thing that kills the drums is beer bottle tops. At the ends of the eddy current drum, there is a small magnetic area which attracts small steel particles (predominantly bottle tops) that are not picked up in stage one by big magnets. If these are not constantly removed at least 20 times a day the eddy current drum eventually destroys itself. I was in the Wodonga recycling plant on a visit with a mate who worked there when a drum went. My mates boss was not happy.
For those wishing to do the right thing and recycle bottle tops, put them all in a steel can and crush the top of the can in so they can't get out. This way the bottle tops are captured by the large magnets at the start of the run. They are normally too small to be picked up by the magnet and they move on to stage two and interfere with the eddy current machine.

Thanks very much for that info - I will do that in future.
I had searched for info about recycling but could only find "don't do it" info. I like to know why.
