Thanks, Billy. Sorry if I overreacted, but things like this are emotional. I wished cracker night was back too for the sake of my grandkids. They miss out on a lot of the "living"that we had. Jim

Potentially problematic everywhere. We don't know, and usually can't know, what grief others are carrying and what effect it has on their lives. Since my two daughters were killed I've struggled with so many things, and possibly always will.

But I realise the overwhelming majority of people would never mean to cause further injury, and I also realise people can and will say things which I can see from a terribly painful perspective.

Yet how can we explain hunger to a person who has never been short of food?

This is also an era of terrible political correctness. People are vilified even for appearing to say wrong things. Look at this story:
