I was talking to my kids about fireworks I had when I was a kid.
It was awesome when my dad would bring home a bag of crackers and my brother and I would sort through them and read what each one would do.
One time my dad bought a $20 bag!!!!

Throwdowns were especially fun and quickly disappeared into a dressing gown pocket.

One of my mates nearly lost an eye.

A wally at a bonfire shot a Roman candle through the fire at the people on the other side, smack into Chris's eye.

He's hated fireworks ever since, and that was over thirty years ago.

Apparently the old ED's were hammered with burn victims on cracker night.

Mind you, Chris used a catapult and shot a Throwdown at a Police car driving past, and hit it !

Funnily enough he joined the AFP at nineteen, been in the job ever since.

One of my wifes cousins died when her clothes caught alight. She was a twin.
