IMHO, would be hard to appreciate the special effects now, but at the time they were fantastic which helped the massive appeal. Today as a newbie it would probably only serve to understand the story and characters, small children would be the only exception I would guess.

Absolutely mad aren't they. His road/dirt test of the 4x4 MG seemed a bit more 'brisk' than your typical 4x4 test, though he didn't test his claim that 'it'll go anywhere'.

Then that 240hp GT - that'd need to be treated with respect.
