    Depends. I've always pronounced it "Berry", but I'm not a local (originally all of 20km away...), but some of the locals say it more like "Buh-ri".
    There's bound to be a clip of Gary Neville (of Man Utd fame) saying it somewhere on t'internet as it's his home town.
