In my house, I was forced to go and choose the offending item... I can remember my dad making me select a belt for the task one day and after ruminating on it forever, I stupidly chose the narrowest one... I 100% didn't make that mistake again!

Ah,the thongs were all we wore,even to school
The wooden spoon we used to lick after the cake was made & in the oven.
The belt didn't get much use.
It was a stick instead,used to friggin hurt & leave a bruise for days.
when i look back,it probably kept the four of us boys in line & was what we deserved........
