Interesting.. I own a late model Defender and I have to admit that I've never seen a crash test video of one hitting a test wall. Perhaps I'd prefer to live in blissful ignorance rather than see the graphic effects of the damage to the occupants!

EDIT: I think I'd rather be in any of those Toyotas vs a Defender in the case of a crash. I know that we like to think "the other vehicle is my crumple zone" but I'm not so sure about that reasoning. I drive a 3 tonne truck with a solid chassis and no ABS or airbags. I don't want to dwell too much on what can go wrong.. Admittedly I drive rather slower compared to the majority of road users, but when you're carrying a young family, images of those safety crash tests are a sobering thought.
