    I had the little ZX80? (the white one) I also had the 16K black memory expansion module!

    The first one we had was the Texas Instruments TI99/4A.
    It was a great machine and I remember reading out hundreds of lines of BASIC and my brother would punch it in so we could play pathetic games that generally failed because we had entered the data incorrectly.

    You would spend more time fixing up your data entry mistakes than playing the game. It was a real bugger when you forgot to save it to the Cassette tape.
    My first PC was the RadioShack MC10, with the 8K memory expansion, then a TRS80 after that.

    a hot setup cam at a cost to the company at 9K

    but hay and upgrade from 4 meg to 8 meg of ram for the WANG = 42K
