You wouldn't think 0.8 of a litre would make so much difference. Pat

I'm sure the D4 with the new 5ltr (i think) the 2010 model with twin turbo is as fast as the supercharged range rover sport (old model)

Pretty sure thats why the landrover guy said at our trivetts meeting.

No it isn't. It's the engine out the Jag XFR and has about 120HP more than the current model.

You mean the new 3.0d? No, it's not faster than the old RRS S/C, or the TDV8 RRS. The new 5.0V8 D4 will be faster than a TDv8 RRS, but not the old S/C.

A lot of new tech in the new engines, they sound good too.

    Fast!

You can see how hard it squats in the rear compared to the old model.

no like I said in my post the D4 with the 5ltr......pretty sure that's what the marketing manager was talking about.

EDIT: Oh hang on I see why you thought I ment the 3ltr coz I mention the twin turbo....durrrrrrr no sorry I meant the 5ltr I'm just getting mixed up..it was a long presentation all the defender models and then all the 2010 line up and it was couple of weeks ago now so forgotten most of it...(just shows what a great marketing manager he was I guess )
