will 315/75 R16 rub if mounted on 16x8 rims with -6mm offset
Wondering if anybody could help?
The car is a LR defender Td5 110. With a 50mm lift. I know I will have to fit flares......
I have 16x8 steel rims, they have -6mm offset.
I was wondering if I mounted 315/75R16 on these rims (yes they will fit on the rim, its the minimum width rim they allow)..............
.............would they rub on any parts on the car on /off road?
Has anyone had any experience with these sizes?
They are 313mm wide by the manufactures specs.
1450kg load rating.
878mm overall diameter. 34.56inches or about so.
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Gecko.

Hi mate.
I have just fitted 35s to my 04 110. I made the mistake of buying -20 off set rims. My wheel track is now 106 wider than standard so I have to buy yet another new set of rims.
I was wondering how you got on with your set up.
Did you experience any problems with the bigger tires rubbing?

Watch for rubbing on the spring perch edge, and the inside of the wheel arch when flexed fully.
