Rescueing a brand new missile launcher truck

    Hi Guys
To start I havent got a good pic, just a poor phone shot.
Got a call from a mob doing powerline upgrades today,WE JUST BOGGED OUR NEW UN-BOGGABLE 8x8.Well when I went to see it it was well and truely up to the chassis. This truck is brand new,2 days old,$250000 worth.Has a hi ab that can reach 25m with a 350kg SWL with a post hole digger or pole attachment on the end, awsome stuff. Its a Russian Tatia(or similar spelling)
The bogging I feel was due to operator error. We got our Excavator in to drag it out.Once the tyres were back on deck it was all OK,until the thing was floating again,I asked the steerer WHY WERNT ALL 8 WHEELS TURNING AT ONCE??? He didnt know what I was on about, showed him the switches to lock all 8,MUCH EMBARRESMENT
Only wish I got in the cab and tried to drive it out whilst waiting for the digger to arrive

    That'd have a worse turning circle than a 130!

    Love those 8 wheels though.

Sounds like it has a crane borer mounted on it. A device used by electricity authorities to lift poles in and out of the ground and able to bore new holes. A multi-purpose device used by no-one else. We used to sell them at Tutt-Bryant Industries, made by another part of the group, Pacific Construction Equipment. Like many of those devices that are meant to do more than one job, they are troublesome. Both Sales and Service Departments hated them.
