Smile The LSE Tdi project begins

Went to the auctions today and bought a 1998 Tdi auto D1 (damaged) as a donor for the LSE.

Got it pretty cheap but it isn't a shining example Owner was a heavy smoker and the interior is going to the tip, seats are ruined and the rooflining is stained horrifically. The vehicle has some pretty big numbers on the ODO, but the engine seems to have had a rebuild at some point, new starter, tyres, radiator, so basically everything I want is all there. Auto oil is clean and looks well serviced. I have a low KM LT230 transfer case which I'll fit up to it. Almost zero oil leaks from the engine especially the vac pump

It'll begin at some point soon, as the vehicle gets delivered tomorrow

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Will be a good bit of gear when done I plan to do something similar in the near future.
Is the LSE a soft dash?

I already have a donor 300 Tdi disco but haven't come across a decent LSE soft dash with shot running gear yet

Will be watching with interest when you get started.

No soft dash, it is a 1993 model, no EAS, 2" lift with 235/85/16's, in good condition but the V8 was killing me The traction control just packed it in before I took it off the road, bought another modulator from Ebay UK and plan to fit that and a new heater core (Broke one of the pipes removing the 3.9, bloody plastic ones!!1) aswell. I just ordered some new seat heater pads and will also be refitting the heated screen when it comes time for a new one. I love driving it, and the level of comfort etc is fantastic.

    Can't wait!
