It's interesting how LR drip feed little dobs of the pioneering Series I "dna" psyche in their sales pitch, make a tentative offering of same in the Defender range then manufacture heavier and more complicated loungechairs... D4/RR etc. Maybe it IS all in the mind...except for the true believers on this forum who actually "get it!"
