    Help? CFS need 130 bullbar

    Gday,
a CFS (Country Fire Service) unit next to mine have a "QAV-14" 130 defender. (quick attack vehicle) (1000l or less and 4 wheel drive)
They are in the middle of roo country here especially at night... but in their
wisdom CFS hq have decieded that if they want a bullbar they will have to source their own!..

(CFS HQ also have to deal with a huge demand on a limited budget so maybe shouldnt winge too loudly!!)

I have been approached to see if I can find anyone with a bar that will fit the 1998 130" and is willing to sell/(donate?) it hopefully at a cheap price..

Hoping someone can help... we are in the riverland in SA..

    cheers
    digger

PS Now is the time to start clearing around the house BEFORE fire season starts....

D'oh..i recently left a very repairable one at the panel beaters when i had an insurance fixup.
Was only slightly bent on one side, but i have too much 'rainy day' crap lying around, so didn't bother claiming it
    Sorry man.
    Good luck

I have a very solid steel bar that was given to me and I am trying to offload as I no longer need it (I have had a few interested parties but if you get in before they confirm (return to perth) it is yours). Since it is for a good cause I am willing to drop it off (i.e. a freight company etc) within 30km of Perth.

The bullbar is a home made copy of a county/110 bar. It is very solid, completely rust free, and even comes with a recovery hook and an integral recovery point.

Yours for free if you can arrange freight, but you will need to confirm ASAP.

I can email a photo if you pm me your email.

If they would prefer aluminium I have a Bocar aluminium bar and integral side steps. But I would want some money for that - say 2x the sims metal price for scrap AL.

    Hi there Digger

I put a winch bar on my 130 I got of Peter Brown in Adelaide, my old bar is sitting at a friends house in Whyalla.......

It is in good condition - and it bolts to the original bumber (suspect its the original bar when it was bought new)

    If its any help.
