    I think it should have had a field to put one's age - that would show that many owners are mature drivers and not hoons.

    An Age field would have been a good idea , It even would have shown that a lot of younger drivers aren't Hoons and need not be put into the same basket.

    another Govt "solution" looking for an as yet undefined problem
    In Qld we experience this every day.. it's called "policy by press release"...usually accompanied by photo of person in hard hat, designer dental work and lots of "red". Each StateGovt Dept has a subscription to the local rag which they read every morning to set the day's work... keeping the wheels turning is all about SPIN...

    Got an email from Mr Stoner today saying how he has raised the petition in parlament and a link to a youtube video of him doing his thing.

    Yes, I got that as well. I have no problem with his having mine - I would guess he got it from my local member, who has been helping (somewhat ineffectually - the independent member from Dubbo is more use) in my ongoing dispute with National Parks.
