I've had a couple of the "Nice restoration job" comments about my Puma. So many people think they stopped making them 10 or 20 years ago.

Get a few comments like that about my Triumph motor bike, which is just a couple of years old, but looks like it is styled from 40 years ago.

I have had the same, i dont drive one though. I was at the police college driving out with some mates and one drove in all kitted up and i commented on how cool it was and they all said, yuk look how old it is. When i told them it was no older then probably 5yrs non of them would believe me. LOL

The funniest one I've had was from the younger sibling of a girl I was interested in who said "this would go well in a museum?" I then told them it was only 16 years old and so was younger than their sister! hehe The girl loved the Defender...but sadly we didn't go any further than friends...

The other notable one was from a Patrol owner in a mixed off road day trip who just couldn't help himself - "you gota like the Landies...but they're just not up with modern 4wd's" By the end of the day he'd gained a bit more respect for mine!

Get complemented on it a fair bit too - plus turn a few heads driving around.
