Thread: just saw 2 land rover s3 utes at a clearing out sale

one was a 1980 6cyl ute complete with all army stuff except a shovel and a soft top but it had the frame
it had to great door tops sitting in the back with glass and it also had all the rear seats.overall in great condition,no rust anywhere,engine sounded and looked good,only downside is it had a little bit of dash damage(liveable though) and a small-medium dint in the left hand fender,it had been well looked after with new shockies i would have bought it but i have to many it only went for $1000
the other was the same but an 1981 not as good torn seats dash stuffed but same as the other except no door tops and no soft top frame it got $700
all round pretty surprised i was talking to the owner of the 1st one that i mentioned and he didnt know much about them but he was going to turn it into a beach car(bit upset about that)

if i knew that they were army ones i would have told you guys but i thought they were just s3 so i wanted them
