Condolences to you and the family Numpty.
I lost my Mum a few years ago, although not Dementia, she had been unwell and suffering a long time. I know what a 'blessing' it can be amongst the grief.

    All the best mate.

Thanks to all and sundry for the thoughts and well wishes.

It wasn't unexpected, as the last few years weren't kind to the old bloke. Lost his wife (my Mum) of 63 years in 2006, who we believe kept his brain working. Then in 2007, their only daughter and the oldest of us (of 5) died of cancer and then we put him in a home. Poor bugger, we wonder whether he knew what was going on then.

Cherish the thoughts......we sure do and most were good ones.
