Now days you have to go to very remote areas to not find LPG,an empty lpg tank is not more a waste than an empty second diesel tank.If I lived in Perth where LPG is 50cpl I'd be buying gas but I don't live in Perth. Pat
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
my vote for diesel!
slow and painful, but my last couple of tanks have been bang on 10l/100kmgotta love that!
Here are bothoptions you pick , fly up n drive back to tassie!
Unreserved - Land Rover Discovery V8 Petrol & Turbo Diesel
On this sale, ( it differs with some) they dont include the gst and charge another 5%handling fee so add about 15% to the final bid if you want to buy 1 of them.
Gas is for bar b q's!
V8's are cheaper to buy, cheaper to fix, have plenty of power and you just cant beat the sound of a rover V8 at full noise (with a decent exhaust system of course)
Diesel's are nice if you're touring or doing alot of towing but hey.....how often do you get away for a trip up the cape?
They both have their pro's and cons but for weekend trips away camping and commuting to and from work theres nothing wrong with a V8.
You know you want one!![]()

As I said earlier in this thread (I mainly resurected it to ask about the auto gearbox) , gas is really a bit too hard to find i a lot of parts of tasmania that I want to do 4wding in, so really diesel is the only choice for me![]()
