Compushift is a HGM Electronics product.

I came across these units when following a link from MegaSquirt EFI controllers, they are offered as a means to control a stronger option for a slush box in the GM autos. I see that know they sell the kit for the ZF4HP-24 as well as Ford autos.
They allow you to program your own shift criteria, I think the drag boys like them.

I have asked Ian if we can do this to our puma once out of warranty.....he always wanted the Puma to come out with an auto...So I have suggested because we are going to be keeping the car to the end perhaps we should do what he has always wanted...
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
That's true Jeff, but I imagine that if Land Rover were smart enough to have a Auto option in the Defender it would be a $5K to $10K option.
Has anyone done this conversion? Are you happy with the outcome? Were their any installation teething issues?
Does the auto still keep the same GVM / GCM as the manual?
Cheers,
Hugh
