They would have produced mainly Stilton? Was it closed/bought out? What a shame...

And with their closure, no doubt much of a village's history and tradition is gone....

I was returning from a week away working some time back, and in the last 100k before getting home deciced to finish the tucker in the fridge. One of the items was a wedge of blue. It had been raining at home, so on my arrival, a Friday night, I parked up 200 metres from the house on hard ground. I had a bit of a slacky over the weekend and didn't go near the truck, upon opening the door Monday morning I was almost knocked over. I had dropped a small crumb of cheese on the floor, it had been a hot humid weekend.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Oh yeah - piquant, pungent - yet somehow irresistible to the senses...

If eating different cheeses, make sure you use a different knife/cutter for each cheese, to prevent cross-contamination of the cheese. Not from a health warning POV, but a "you will ruin the cheese" POV...
