    King Island (Tassie) do some nice cheese too.

    I'm particularly fond of their roaring forties blue, and triple cream brie.

    No argument from me..Try the Discovery Ash Blue .

    It's interesting how the sort of feed that the cow/goat/ewe etc consumes (grasses, weeds, dry, damp etc) as to how that affects the taste of the milk, and in turn the cheese.

    Agree totally.

    We get our milk fresh from the dairy. You can always tell when the feed or season changes, because the flavour of the milk does too.

    That's logical, Pauls make Ice Break iced coffee in Rockhampton and Brisbane, to the same reciepe, the only difference being local milks. The Northern brew is sweeter.

    In celebration of cheese day (and since Im batching it tonight) I made my fave cheese burger.

    8 slices of cheese (4 pieces each of 2 different types)
    an onion finely ringed
    4 steakettes
    2 pieces of lightly buttered bread toasted in the pan
    BBQ sauce on the butteres side of the bread
    mild powdered chilli for between the cheese.

    assemble

    bread
    sauce
    onion
    craft single
    chilli powder
    steakette
    tasty single
    onion
    craft single
    chilli powder
    steakette
    tasty single
