    cold weather food

Mmmm, Tasmanian Grown lamb shanks, slow cooked for 6 hours in a red wine based sauce, garlic, onions, carrots and parsnip. Served on a bed of creamy mash and sprinkled with fresh parsley....

Just what we needed after the cold windy and wet snap today and yesterday

Hope everyone has had a great weekend, ready to get stuck into it tomorrow!!

Gotta agree with the lamb shanks and mash potato Justin...and a nice red to wash it down. . Slow cooked oxtail isn't bad either.

We just finished a chicken roast (free range chook of course ) with roasted sweet potato, herb and onion stuffing, green beans, lots of gravy. Not as good cold weather nosh as lamb shanks but it'll do.
