Doesn't look easy to fix in the field.
Just seen this on the news . As most of us know . The Aussie army is going to be replacing the Land Rovers with another vehicle in the next few years . This is the aussie contender a Hawkei . Looks the business if you ask me.

Australian troops offered new ride: the Hawkei
Doesn't look easy to fix in the field.
I think the direct replacement for the Land Rover is the G class
The Hawkei seems to more like a rival for the Humvee.

Pretty sure if you look closely you'll find that the grille badge says Cayenne.

So i guess there will be alot of Landys on the market soon.
'Despite its long and proven service, the Land Rover offers minimal protection against the type of threat certain to be encountered in any future conflict - landmines, improvised explosive devices and gunfire.'
And what do they face now? Arrows and stones?
Looks the goods i reckon![]()
