I have only done from a bit North of Wilcannia to Menindee Lakes. Coach and Horses campground about 50Km North of the Broken Hill Road is relatively new campground with GAS barbeques and a drop toilet. We loved Copi Hollow camp ground in winter as we got a lakeside camping spot, however the speedboats may annoy in summer. There are many campspots along the lakes but most are dust bowls and there were generator lovers there when we were there. The East side road was rough when we did it last year, and I believe is normally less maintained than the west side road. The National Park at Menindee is worthwhile to see with the old Station and shearing shed and there are camping spots there. Do not try to buy fuel in Wilcannia and if you have to go into the side street. Regards Philip A
