    No matter which way you cut it.. a taxi will win this race

    I'll probably watch it as I have every other year of my life though. What is it about non car people that they put a birthday party on during the race though!

    He also drove BMW's and Volvo's also ...... Can't see any bathurst wins under is name with a Ford , BMW . Did win in a volvo at bathurst but was not part of the touring cars .

    The best race for me was sitting on the bonnet of my XA 2 door Falcon watching 2 door falcons come 1st and 2nd in 1977

    Hi there all

    Well I am a ford fan - but please I have watched enough bathurst races to know it has many variables.

    Well can all can have a stab in the dark at the start of the race whom we think may win - but the winners are anounced at the end of the race and "reliability and luck"has alot to do with the final outcome.

    But at the end of the day its a great race - and one year I may get over there to watch in person

    Good luck to all - and hope it goes of without any major incidents/accident

    Brock in the wet 87 chasing sierres
    Perkins from dead last to first,Loundes caused the problem for him 95?
    A9x toranas,winning by 6 laps....78,79?

    And there are many others...........thats what makes Bathurst so good

    Seems like today,its a mob of holdens chasing a lone falcon....
    And that team has seen the light & next year will be driving...........Holdens






    yer,so true they are all a group of taxis,they need to do some changes to spice it up,whether it is different brands or whatever ,i dunno,but going the Nascar way would not to be the way to go.
