Hasn't this race been run already this year or am I mistaking it for the undercover carpark at the supermarket?

Well done to those who started, that takes a big effort. And thankyou to all the volunteers (flaggies, fire marshals etc) without whom the race could not happen.

    Sorry to say,
    Won't be for a while.......

The most successful ford team is moving onto greener pastures, doesn't leave many front running ford teams around.

    Seems Ford doesn't really care

    Anyway,another fantastic race.

I lost interest when it went to the parity formula. When manufacturers had to homologate a car by selling a number of them, and then they raced the actual car without excessive modification... that was racing. Everyone won too... as there were better cars available to drive.

Now... the manufacturer supplies a shell, and then they spend 600 hours cutting most of it out and putting custom parts and a roll cage in... and then they start putting bits in.

Those things bear virtually no relationship to the ones you can buy. Anyone who modifies their purchase intentions is completely deluded (or just stupid).

Bring back production car racing... oh but then the Fords and Holdens get flogged... oh I remember now.. that was why they made a two make parody series as that was the only way to ensure one of the local two would win.
