Yeah... But its the way of the sport..

If Ferodo had told Chrysler about the new pad compound back in the day..
Things may have been very different

What a farce. How pussy are they getting when the announcers get hysterical about one guy spinning on the first lap, and the PACE CAR being called out. I gave up after about 5 laps. Same old same old. I agree that the series is becoming less and less relevant to selling cars. OK you Ford and Holden Guys. How many of you have actually bought or intend to buy a HSV Commodore or GTP Falcon? Come on hands Up and tell the truth because that is what they are trying to sell . Regards Philip A

    The only reason I don't have one is I can't afford it. That's why I have a 13yo Disco.

    What should be said...

9 motorsport vehicles with shells resembling a Commodore and 1 shell that looked like a Falcon were the vehicles to complete the top ten in the latest race at Bathurst...

    Why?

Because aside from loosely resembling the production vehicle.. Nothing inside the damn things is even remotely like the street going vehicles...

I think everyone has already established that ! several times in this thread . But their are still ford fans and still holden fans . And as long as they have the blue oval or the lion on the grill ford and holden fans will follow it .

I hate to tell you this but you were misled, badly.

There is no such thing as an XC GT.

I had an XB GT coupe ( Don't I wish I still owned it now) which was the last of the GT's until Ford reintroduced it around 1992 with an EB GT.

And if Chrysler had achieved greater sales volume, they may have been able to fit 4 speed transmissions without affecting their obligations under the Australian content rules.

And if the Ford factory team hadn't cheated by using a Firestone racing tyre that would not fit on private entries the result could have been different. As it was, the cheat tyres failed thus saving Ford the embarassment of multiple protests from all and sundry.

And if clouds rained money we would all be Warren Buffets.
