hopefully more praise will be given as it is the new long term test rig in the shed.
saying that for landrovers sake i do hope it does not get the same gremlins as has been experienced by others on this forum.

will be interesting to see who they use to kit it out if they follow the same lines as the previous mazda.

    cheers

Who said you couldn't buy good reviews from a mag..........

At least they will have a recovery vehicle for Roothy's Troopy.

I love the part where they say that anyone who knocks a Defender has not obviously ever driven one offroad and doesn't know what they are talking about.
What Issue # is your write up in, the latest Issue I have is #135, Regards Frank.

Like a few others I stopped buying the Mag a few years ago.
To me Roothy comes across as a Landrover hating Yobbo.

If we as Landrover owners don't like to see our vehicles unjustly flamed in the media then don't flame them when they do write an honest good article, after all they have seen the light now(just hope it does'nt break down on them) let's engourage it.
Well said Wortho hit the nail on the head. My missus bought me a sub last year and I dont mind the mag, they have some interesting trip reports.

Also like some of Roothy's recipes on the DVD'S and that is now two defenders in row that have been featured in the mag.

    Can't agree more....
...and if they would practice what they preach they wouldn't put winch cables directly around trees. So much for their promotion of being a memebr of Tread Lightly. (Watch the DVD part one of Roothy's trip to the Cape)

I don't care if they respond with 'there were crocs in the water'. If the driver can get out of his vehicle into the water and walk his cable to the bank, he can get a tree protector too. It was not like they didn't think they would be winching, they knew they would be.

Like to know what the Tread Lightly people have to say about this.
And Roothy has the nerve to whinge about tracks being closed!

    Cheers
    JLo
