Mick, I know how you feel, I'm on Zoloft, at first they did
me good then they didn't so the dose was increased the dosage, that didn't agree with me , so I went back to dose of before. Now I'm also on Lyrica and the combo of both sends me off. No good these mind and nerve drugs.
Take care mate, get support if you need it.
    Cheers

The best way is one powerball.
In all seriousness it does take time.
Two people close to me was on them, but issues with doctors being stupid and having their own opinions resulted on the person going off the tablets as they got sick of doctors passing different judgements, resulting in the symptoms you say and they did not want to go through it again and again being taken off and on them. It took more than a month for the symptoms to ease when they basically told the doctor to get stuffed. The person thinks they felt better on them though, though from an observer that may be debateable. I have advised the person that if they feel that they need them to see a decent doctor not an ignorant judgemental one that sees the need to impart their own personal ideas instead of medical judgements.
Hope this helps and you get through it. With stuff that has happened in the last 6 odd months I know how you feel and have been having good days, but a lot of bad ones myself and considered getting medication, but have decided to just plough on through.
Take it easy and good luck

I know where you are coming from mate.
A day or so back on them will have you back again. I'm on Lovan and 3 weeks ago my dosage was increased. Now, even though everything seems somewhat better, I can concentrate on work and somehow seem to take more in-the fogs lifted I guess you could say.
But it's affected me in other ways. My emotions are blank, I don't laugh, cry, feel anger or any other emotions, love included. My Doc wants to let it go for another month, but I'm not sure....
    I want my feelings back.

Today I had a real crap day, I've had 3 weekends rostered off in 6 months and they want to take one off me. FFS.

I felt like kicking your cat.

Then when I least expected it, I got a smile; Drove the defender up the drive and 2 wooducks walked right out in front of me. I slammed on the anchors so I didn't have duck pate on my drive. They just looked at me in disgust and kept on waddling. I cracked up - it was very funny - stupid ducks.

Hang in there Mick. Thinkin of ya. Something will bite you on the bum and make you smile - usually when you least expect it.
