You got 260,000 km from an Accord I didn't think they had that in them. Good car but like most Honda's not built to last.

You'll be right, a Lexus is just a Toyota, so it will be unbreakable and dead easy to fix, cheap for parts ...

Huh? Honda's are some of the most reliable well built vehicles around

Have had Quite a few mates work in Jap dealerships, Nissan/Tojo/Hyundai/Honda and the warranty work is minimal on the Honda compared to eveything else

I don't disagree they are a good well built car and for the most part always have been. They just aren't IMO designed to be around for a long time and high mileage.

Must agree with Matt there Derek, the only issues we ever had with that vehicle(Apart from oil consumption from 230K upwards, about 500 to 750ml per 5000km) was a new ignition switch and a front driveshaft/ CV. I changed trans oil every service,(auto) and 3 timing belts and the odd set of tyres and brake pads etc. A fantastic car I still miss it This was the model with the mechanical 4WS, more reliable than the later electric powered rear rack.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

I have known a couple of old accords and civics with insane amounts of km on the clock for such a small engine, which still ran fine.

Sorry to hear JC - so - is the block OK???
