You got 260,000 km from an AccordI didn't think they had that in them. Good car but like most Honda's not built to last.
You'll be right, a Lexus is just a Toyota, so it will be unbreakable and dead easy to fix, cheap for parts ...![]()

Must agree with Matt there Derek, the only issues we ever had with that vehicle(Apart from oil consumption from 230K upwards, about 500 to 750ml per 5000km) was a new ignition switch and a front driveshaft/ CV. I changed trans oil every service,(auto) and 3 timing belts and the odd set of tyres and brake pads etc. A fantastic car I still miss itThis was the model with the mechanical 4WS, more reliable than the later electric powered rear rack.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
I have known a couple of old accords and civics with insane amounts of km on the clock for such a small engine, which still ran fine.
Sorry to hear JC - so - is the block OK???
