    Angry BIG oil leak

And NO its NOT the Rangie

After a drive to the east coast today, The Lexus has a smaller sump capacity now

Damn these 'low' vehicles. To be fair, the better half DID tell me NOT to turn around just there, but did I listen....
Big washouts and rocks don't really mix with 'road' vehicles...

Thats the 3rd time now the sump has to come off for a 'reshape'

Drove 250km back home from Swansea with oil leaking all over the cats and the smell/ smoke was entertaining...NOT.

Lucky I have a hoist at my disposal I guess

..Ha Ha, I just got 'THAT LOOK' But rest assured it WILL come up again, most likely when I least expect it

Just went and had a good look, oil is dripping more from ABOVE the sump where it bolts to the alloy block Hope it isn't what I think it is...

You never told me your roasting pans were old Lexus sumps!

Not good, hope it's only oil run up the sides off the sump.

    What model lexicon is it?

Well, you of all people should know how to fix it JC.

Yes, I know....But apart from the green oval products i own it is one of the nicest vehicles I have ever had. Fantastic build quality, glorious 32 valve V8, silky trans and loungeroom silence. It just isn't very high off the ground

1992 LS400, bought it in Melbourne with 100K on the clock, 1 owner $24K. That was 167,000km and 5 years ago. I've always wanted one ever since I saw one back in the early '90's. and finally became affordable

We traded a '92 EXi Accord on it, again bought in exceptional condition with 97K, and kept till 260k odd. Was another great car.

    Hope the block is OK
