    How embarassing!

I've been camping with the family and some friends this weekend. On the way back we stopped at McD in Beaudesert to let the kids let off some steam on the playground. At one point I looked up and noticed a GCLRO tyre cover on a vehicle with a distinctive private plate in the car park. I was going to say hello to the driver, but he left before I could.

What was embarrassing? It was CLEAN. LRs should not be clean at Sunday lunchtime!!

At least our cars had the decency to have mud on the roof.

Who was this disgrace to the group? I think it is best he remain nameless. For now...

    Cheers, Steve

We'll leave the clues about the dark coloured car until later.

Oops! Delete key broken, I can't delete that.

Ok...was it this usually dirty car

Just prior to it being clean .....and it was clean due to being covered in sand, salt water etc...so ner...

I will say most likely myself as I was at Beauy Macca's yesterday. That said Smokey went off road later that arvo and the tyres are caked in cow ****.....and some nice mud streaks across the bonnet and sides....plus chased 2 dingo's and rounded up some steers.

Hope that eases the embarrassment ,

    Regards

Was driving along today and thought you cheeky bugger. I remembered seeing a D3 when I was driving out.....and it was pretty clean. If it was covered in mud......it would have left an impression. Maybe when your D3 looks like mine...then you can post up about "clean" LR's. I only needed a D3 and not afraid to use it

Come back to me when you have finished with leisurely drives along dirt roads ,

    Regards

OK, obviously touched a nerve there...

I was just having some fun. Everything is relative, and your car was spotlessly clean and mine had mud on the roof and cow **** underneath so I figured a bit of online bull**** was in order.

What tha........no nerves touched here....thought the pretty much covered that fact that it was a stir returned. Thats the problem with the net, people misread even with the use of icons.

Fair enough. I wouldn't have started the thread if I didn't think you would take it in the spirit it was intended.
