I lost interest when the other makes were banned.
IMHO, the WRC/ARC is so much more interesting. And - shock horror - there are GENUINELY different vehicles racing against each other - which are much closer to production vehicles than the V8 supercars are.
The WRC has a higher budget - so budget is not the issue. There are WRC races where privateers who are local and know the terrain can cut it with the big internationals.
The other bonuses:
Drivers have to fix their own car if they break down on a special stage.
Point-point not just round and round again and again...
Racing over 3 days - which is a real test of reliability and endurance
Only one car on the track (usually), so none of the issues that seem to dominate the V8 supercars these days.
They race in interesting places with nice scenery!
been watching the farce today entertaining as long as you dont take the holden vs ford to seriously few incidents will be woth talking about (safety car anyone) bit of bump and go in the second race
Another 'Safety' car balls up!
British Touring Cars are far more entetaining than V8s, it's just a shame the camera work is not up to the same standard.
