If they didn't limit the free version then how would they make money?
I've never had mine limited though. The pictures I post must not be interesting enough to get enough clicks![]()
Bloody Photobucket
Recently, my Photobucket albums were at 100% capacity and I was unable to upload any more images. I needed to reduce the amount of photos I had on the site. I did this by deleting hundreds of photos. My storage use was now down to 41% of capacity as of yesterday.
Without any warning or notification, Photobucket has decided that I have exceeded my bandwidth and have subsequently replaced all the hundreds of photos I have posted on this forum with
Update to Pro today! - Bandwidth exceeded
What annoyed me was that no notification or warning was posted on my account from Photobucket![]()
I was happy to upgrade to Pro but I needed to attach a credit card to my Paypal account.....problem is, I don't own a credit card
So there you go, no more photos from me through Photobucket.
I'll have to upload through the AULRO server from now on.
Any members that use Photobucket as their main image host will need to be wary of this mob
Regards
Stuart

the bandwidth is how many people have looked at your photos, but I thought the limit was pretty high. certainly i;ve not had trouble with my photo bucket account.
is somebody using a photo from your photobucket on another large forum that gets a lot of views?

No trouble here. they seem to be by far the best of the photo hosters.
