do you truly believe that?
do you know why Qld Transport arent interested in introducing yearly inspections? because it wouldnt do anything more than cost people money, and theres enough dodgy roadworthy inspectors now
a few months ago i had the opportunity to remove an aftermarket, WA government specified immobiliser system that had been fitted to a vehicle (legislation in WA requires all cars that are sold second hand to have immobilisers fitted if they arent so equipped from the factory)
time for me to bypass the immobiliser and get the car started? <3 minutes
time for me to remove the immobiliser completely and make everything appear normal? <15 minutes
and this is an immobiliser system fitted as part of a government requirement, much the same as your suggested alcohol interlock
god i love the lunatic fringe who want to implement controls instead of enforcing responsibility

???
not a smart idea by the way
, look out the window at anything.....talk to your passengers.............
As somene who lives on the western side of our wonderful State, how often/what time of day/week do you do this? Just want to know so I can stay off the road, or alternatively, if I am working, I can stock the ambulance at the ready!!
