    HOW'S THIS FOR A TOP MODEL ??

Now that I have your attention.........

I've made an RC 90 which I have posted here before.
    A little re-cap.

But I also do wooden tall ships.
    The Schooner for Port Jackson

    Tea Clipper, Thermopylae.

    And the latest, Bluenose 2.

The Bluenose is a special thank you to a very good friend, she saw the Schooner for Port Jackson and loved it and wanted to do one herself so bought the Bluenose but on examining the plans packed it up and never touched it again. She was the head mistress at a small country school my kids went to and when my daughter, Caroline died at 13 I rang her because she deserved to hear from me rather than the news.

She offered to do the eulogy. We hadn't even thought of it. We weren't thinking of much at all.
I was blown away by her offer and knew she would do an excellent job that my daughter and her mother and I would be proud of. She did.

I always thought that offering to do a child's eulogy was something pretty huge and something I could never repay.

She ended up giving me the Bluenose to make and keep but I am going to give it to her.

You've done an excellent job on those models and I'm sure your friend will treasure the Bluenose 2.

    Thanks folks,
I'm sure I will have to insist that she accept it.
She would think it is too great a gift but it is nothing when compared to what she did.
