Thread: Cheep parts from the UK

So, like a lot of people here I have been buying parts on the internet and from pad****ares and thought I was on to a good deal.

Only the performance of Betty was not great, upon taking Betty to a Land Rover specialist with all the electronic gizzmoes I discover that my OEM parts are not performing as well as Original Land Rover parts, and most looked like they had been made under licence in China.

so off come the cheep parts and on with original - the difference was amassing.

And as for ebay, half the stuff may have come from a working land rover, but when they got to me they did not work properly. They usualy worked OK when I got them and I left positive feedback but after a short while i needed to throw them away.

None of the parts I got on the internet were from well known people on this forum, and I know they test the parts before selling them.

So the question is are the cheep parts really cheep in the long run, and if you Land Rover is not performing well may be you need to think about where you get your parts from......
