    Getting Kicked Out !!!!!!

Just founding out yesterday that our unit that we are renting out in werribee is getting sold once again for the third time and this time the Helllords are wanting to move in. They have given us 60 days to find some where else to live which i really dont think we'll be able to do. My wife Alix is the bread winner at the moment working full time with myself looking after a 3yr & 1yr old. Stress levels are peaking here as to will we end up on the streets.

My parents place cant take us back as my older brother is moving back in just from a recent break up with his long term partner and with my dad having MS i just dont think a three bedroom home would be right for 7 ppl.
Its hard trying to find other unit or house to rent as most renters know that you'll need at least 1 months rent up front including the bond which roughly ends up about $2500 which we can not afford with only one person working and myself on centerlink benifits which i never see as i dont get any.

    SO........what to do???????

Have tried getting a casual job and put the little men threw a childcare but in the end thats all i'd be working for....

Gotta love The end of the year!!!!!!

    I feel for you mate.
Even the labour hire companies, although they have not had a good year, there might be some casual work avail up to christmas, but then come factory shut down, the casuals are told Adios amigo go and fend for your self. you have to wait till Feb before things start up.
declare your self as a refuge or assylum seeker, you'll then have no worries

    Hey Joker,

that really sucks - sorry to hear your situation.

Where are you? (don't know where werribee is) - does anyone on here have rental property/spare room?

Yeah it's in Victoria mate in the western subs. The worst thing is we have been living here for 4 years and have paid on time ever since and just to get kicked out like it's nothing!!!! I really don't know what to say lol. Guess it happens in the rental game. Cheers mate

I think there was a situation similar, where the tenants were told to leave, and not suitable accommodation could be found.
I think if that is the case they can't throw you out into the street. Speak to the tenants tribunal.
This could buy you time till after Christmas, ties the Land Lord up with redtape.

    Sorry
    Land lord's on here.

    Hi,
    that's a bit rough.
Never been there, so don't know much about it, but surely 4 years of regular payment history and a reference from landlord who is moving in to his own rental property would put you high on the list of desirable tenants.
An agent would bend over backwards to have a proven reliable tenant on his books.
    cheers

Yeah will have to mate. Look I was not going to say anything cause for one I'm not a racists BUT the new land lords are from Asian decent and the unit we are in is way too small for 2 adults & 2 growing little men being a 4 beda. Now THESE ppl moving in have a family of 7 YES 7 so I don't know what they are trying to do here????
